This October, several local businesses are hosting events and fundraisers to support patients at Asante!
Friday, October 17, grab a coffee or beverage from your local Human Bean during Coffee for a Cure. The company started Coffee for a Cure 20 years ago, donating all profits from food and beverage sales on that day in support of patients facing cancer. In that time, Human Bean has raised $4.2 million dollars company wide. The event directly impacts Asante patients, funding mammograms for those in need and creating awareness.
Throughout October, Del Rio Vineyards is hosting Drink Pink! The annual event supports Asante Foundation Compassion Funds for patients fighting cancer. For every six bottles of select wines sold this month, Del Rio will donate $5 to help reduce the cost of mammograms and support educational programs.
Del Rio also hosted the third annual Hike to Fight on October 5. The event was sold-out, with more than 350 hikers.
