Dr Divya Sood is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at OHSU and a surgical oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with abdominal cancers. She has a particular focus on metastatic cancers with expertise in using HIPEC surgery to treat several types of cancer. Her research focuses on using biomarkers to improve our understanding of who will benefit most from which treatments. She also has an interest in designing more inclusive clinical trials to make sure all patients have better access to advanced technology and treatments.
